A couple of days have passed since the big day and I truly hope you all had a magical time. However, as I said myself on Christmas day, it is also worth remembering that it is okay not to be okay. Just because it’s Christmas doesn’t mean we are expected to be bouncing off the walls constantly! It’s also a time for reflection, a time to remember and a time to give thanks for what we have, whatever that may be.
But as I say, I hope everyone had a lovely day, however you chose to spend it. I had a lovely day of presents, good food and staying nice and cosy whilst the weather blew bloody murder outside!
Family, Thanks & Love
Last week we had family over for a pre Christmas celebration which was so nice and here’s a snapchat to show my excitement for that!
On Christmas Eve myself and my parents took a trip to the coast for a walk along the front at Lyme Regis. Of course I could not resist the opportunity for a good piccy!
I was quite surprised, and indeed happy, at how many people there were milling about. We popped into a little cafe for a green tea before heading home excited for Christmas day!
The cafe was called The Galley Cafe and was really cool and the staff were all super nice so if you’re ever in Lyme Regis go say hello!
So as I mentioned I had a lovely, chilled Christmas day and got some beautiful presents.
New Years Plans?
We have no current plans for New Years at the moment, we may go down the pub for a swift one, but otherwise it’s probably going to be a quiet one!
I’m also super excited about next weeks post because it’s my DECEMBER FAVOURITES and I have loads of things to talk about, including food, TV and beauty! I haven’t done a favourites since June, so feel free to check that one out here
I am going to do a favourites post every month now though!
Let me know what plans you have for New Years and head over to my Instagram if you want a sneek peak of my Christmas prezzies and next weeks post!
